Our membership is made up of spouses, parents, siblings, and adult children of current employees of the Shreveport Fire Department, and Retired SFD spouses that were SFDSO members at the time of the SFD employee's retirement.

We are all volunteers who come from different backgrounds, experiences, careers, and age brackets. Our common thread is that we all have a love of serving our SFD Fire family!

Our organization plays a support role to all employees of the Shreveport Fire Department. In addition to those duties, we plan and host several fun events each year for our SFD Spouses & families, along with working on growing our passion projects.

We began as and continue to strive to be a network for our fellow fire family members to connect amongst each other and build relationships to support each other in this thing we call fire life.
